And so goes another round of bug fixes and features for the DdD Capture Toolkit. This time:
- A big focus on improving the ETA progression bars
- Fixed a long standing issue whereby key presses were laggy
- Fixed an issue where projects greater than 7 wouldn't work
- Automatic content hashing: Added new hashing capability so that when you archive the file away you have a way of checking it hasn't corrupted
- Incorporated an automatic scheduler so that simultaneous project runs use resources effectively
- CPU-aware scheduling - Added logic to ensure encoding runs use cores and caches effectively
- Added non-destructive archive staging so you can more easily see what interim files to delete and what to archive
And all the usual great features, batching of multiple projects, multiple encodes, automatic compilation of ffmpeg to significantly reduce video export times, audio sync built in, etc.
Note you don't need a Domesday Duplicator to get value from this, you can capture with anything, then process your files using DdD Capture Toolkit, which gives you all the batching enhancements and speed for large numbers of tapes.
